Photographer, world traveler, & Inglewood, CA. Native, Justin Henry (@jus10henry), 34, is taking the world by lens & he’s doing it all without ever having stepping foot into a classroom.

We caught up with him and found out more about his craft(s), a few of his obstacles along the way, & how he flipped them for the better.
1 ) What are a few #accomplishments you've had so far with Filmmaking? “Being able to travel for free because of my craft, starting a production company with my friends, & working with Issa Rae is another. The name of the production company is The Collective Films. @thecollectivefilms”
“I work for Issa’s production company, Issa Rae Productions. I help produce original content for the company as well as being the primary production company that films any original content on her YouTube channel, “Issa Rae Presents”. Shows like the web series, BSU, Inside Issa Rae Productions, and the A Sip series.” “Biggest obstacle would just be learning the business since I didn’t go to school for any of this. Having pitfalls in my photo business made me learn what to do to make my production company profitable.”
What’s next for you & what’s a word of advice for anyone wanting to break ground in your industry?

“More travel. More Short films, Just more life. Shit don’t come easy. Everyone has a different success story. Don’t compare yourself to others. Keep your head down, learn your craft, and be the best possible person you could be in your industry.”
