“When I first started off it was difficult getting funds for tools and getting the space to work, but i've overcome that challenge since then. The kinds of challenges that I have now are having plenty of ideas to work on. Because of that, you can get confused and depressed, but i'm working on that and I’m improving. Also, you have to improvise. You have to use what you have to get what you want. For me, during that time, I took a lot of commissions and I did a lot of paintings for people to get the funds to get my own studio and that’s how I turned my forutne around.”
